Our
Story

Although we try to let our work speak for us, we'd like to take a brief page to introduce ourselves! Thunderbird Enterprises, LLC was born from a combined love of the outdoors with decades of photography experience. I'm Emma and I'm the main photographer, designer, and day to day behind Thunderbird Enterprises. My husband, Trent, is my biggest supporter and the face behind one of our lenses and all of our drone footage! We met through the ski industry and have been traveling the world and capturing our memories together ever since! We are Utah natives but constantly trying to fill our days with travels and adventures. The Hawaiian islands, Alaska during salmon season, and South Western Deserts are some of our favorite spots and can be seen throughout our work.

Thunderbird Enterprises was initially started with a focus on the wedding industry, and although we still cover weddings and elopements (primarily under Utah Travel Elopements, a division of Thunderbird), our focus and passion lie most heavily in the corporate, commercial, product, and branding fields. In Utah, wedding photographers can be found a dime a dozen and the market is full of skilled creatives that are highly passionate about this area. Don't get us wrong, we love love, but we see a bigger need for photographers and videographers that can cater to businesses, and especially industry conferences, across the western US. Our experience and heavy current involvement in the ropeway and ski industries allows us to help other businesses in a more personal and experienced manner. We love supporting such a diverse and FUN industry! Is your event photographer OSHA and arc flash certified? They will be if you hire us!

Going hand in hand with commerical and corporate work, we also offer design services in the form of logos, business cards, announcements, merchandise, etc.

We love capturing landscapes, wildlife, and travel images and also offer these for sale in a variety of mediums.

Emma Louise

Owner, Photographer, Adventurer

Hey Y'all! I'm Emma and I own Thunderbird Enterprises, LLC. I always knew my passions were rooted in creative expression but went down a very, seemingly different path. I've worked in the ski and ropeway industries since 2016 starting off in operations and working in maintenance following a bachelor's degree from the U of U. At Park City, I was both a mechanic and electrical technician. Believe it or not- lift maintenance was a great launch pad for my photo and video passions. With long hours, often starting as early as 5am or late as 2am, I was fortunate to see many a sunrise and sunset that have set me chasing the sun ever since. Although I'm not climbing towers to replace RPD's these days, my passions for the industry have greatly impacted my work. I currently do digital management with Doppelmayr and love the opportunity this gives me to stay connected to the ropeway industry! After over a decade of photography experience through personal passion, courses in photography and Adobe creative suites, I found myself wanting to turn my skills into something I can share with industries that I love! My experiences through work and play have shaped how I operate Thunderbird Enterprises. I love combining the beauty of nature and industry with the passion of the people that keep businesses and organizations running. I'm honored to be the official photographer of the Intermountain Ski Area Association for the third year in a row. You can find me at Grand Targhee this year covering the annual conference and capturing images of our ski and resort industry businesses!

Trent

Ski Industry Professional, Licensed Electrician, hottie husband, and Drone Pilot

My hubby is about as badass as they come! While we share a love of the outdoors, travel, skiing, and working in the ski industry, he brings so many other elements and one of a kind experiences to the table. â€‹

Fun fact- he has rock climbed some of the most insane spots including Zion NP and Moab. Even more fun of a fact- he brought a 35mm film camera on many of these adventures and has been capturing action and beauty ever since.

If you're a sucker for candid shots, he's your man! (But only for the shots, try to take him and it won't go well;) For almost any wedding or large event, expect to see him behind the camera or drone controls getting the lay of the land and all the juicy candid pics.

He's the yin to my yang and I couldn't run this company without his love and support. (And massive skillset!)
